Hi Allie !
I’m so glad that they got the appendix out in time! We know that it can come on fast and if you wait too long, it can be trouble. Our daughter Katie had hers out in first grade, on a day that I made her go to school even though she said she had a stomach ache! I was sure she just needed some quality time in the bathroom :) But my mother’s intuition was wrong and I have since had Hayden to the emergency room 3 TIMES because I didn’t want to make the same mistake again……….. luckily it was just gas every time, but once you blow the diagnosis, you are much more careful!
Every one will understand when you take the time you need to help him recover.
