Your pricing will be tailored to your needs and will depend on what you are looking to get out of a session. A minimum session fee of $100 will apply to any type of session, not including portraits or digital files. Portraits are generally selected and purchased after your session upon seeing your images, however digital files may be purchased if desired. Please inquire for more information on the session and images you are interested in. All sessions are conducted on-location within the Grand Rapids area.

Types of photography sessions:
Maternity: A great variety of natural, sweet, simple yet beautiful maternity images including the rest of your family. A beautiful document to the transitional time of bringing a new baby into your family.
Newborn: Natural, snuggly newborn images specific to your family and your interactions with your precious new baby. Simple and sweet. All immediate family included.
Children: Children’s sessions vary greatly… they can be energetic and fun, or relaxed and soulful… all depends on your children! They can last 20 minutes or 2 hours, be elaborate or simple, all depending on what you are looking for!
Family: Family sessions focus on family connections, interactions, and sweet, simple, natural and flattering posing. I always capture a few images of just the children together and individually as well as one of just mom & dad too! Some families like to capture several hours of a “day in the life” type of session, and others are looking for just a few images to choose from for an updated family picture.
Maternity before & after: Quick sessions for each (while pregnant and with newborn baby) with the goal of capturing a specific before and “matching” after image with baby.
Women’s makeover sessions: Include full hair and makeup makeover from start to finish, as well as the photography session. A great afternoon of fun and pampering, especially fun to be enjoyed with a friend!
Women’s portraits and boudoir: No need to take your clothes off for any of the women’s photography- boudoir can obviously be a bit more sexy, but it is great just to update some portraits of you as a woman, whatever that means to you!

Your ordering appointment takes place about two weeks after your session, at which time I will again come to your home to present your images to you. If you prefer, you may opt for a 4-day online gallery with a phone ordering appointment at some point during that four day period. I am flexible on when we schedule your appointment and want you to be comfortable with either option. Cash or check is accepted for ordering and due open placing your order.

I am not available for high school senior photography or weddings. While most of this website is geared towards family and newborn baby portraits, I do offer photography sessions for women (not necessarily boudoir, more of a pampering makeover session- see www.definedfocus.com or click on the galleries above for more details).
