This is soooo my kind of family portrait. Light, loving, laughter, sweetness. Another one in one of my favorite fields in Grand Rapids. Actually, Rockford- just a hair north of Grand Rapids for their outdoor family pictures. Beautiful light, gorgeous, loving, family pictures… couldn’t get any sweeter than these family photos!

I think that by now anyone that frequents my photography blog knows I love to photograph a sweet newborn baby. The nest newborns to photograph for the scrunched up, sweet, new baby look are right around 1 – 2 weeks… but I can’t deny that I love all ages of baby photography too! I LOVED traveling into downtown Grand Rapids for this newborn photography session and am so thankful that this sweet boy’s momma called me last minute! We used all natural light of course (always!) for his professional newborn pictures, and this sweet baby boy slept and slept and snuggled and snuggled! I could not get enough of photographing his newborn portraits!

With our very cold (finally) weather here in Grand Rapids, I thought I’d share a photo of this sweet boy from a warm summer month! It is so fun to look at pictures of a family that I have photographed for years and years. I have photographed this family about six times since first photographing their family in 2006… this adorable little boy is so big now, SO sweet and smart and amazing, AND a big brother to his own little one year old baby brother now!

Anyway, another one of boy in a bucket. An oldie but super sweet picture of a toddler. I just can’t believe how long I’ve been honored to photograph him and his family!
