sweet baby boy: one adorable year old

I met this beautiful little boy when he was still inside his mommys belly… her maternity photography session was just over a year ago and I had so much fun photographing that gorgeous belly. What an honor to be a part of such special times in life! I took his newborn pictures, and his mommy got a gorgeous wall display of 4 11×14 portraits. What a great way to remember and enjoy those amazing newborn days! At his year old photo session, his smiles were contagious. He wasn’t feeling 100% like his smiley, active self when he came in to the Wauwatosa studio for his 1 year photography session, yet the cuteness is pretty much unbearable! Look at this little face!!

I love photographing newborns and families in Wauwatosa homes… so much character and beauty, and Tosa homes always seem to feel so lived in and comfortable while being GORGEOUS all at the same time.
These newborn pictures speak to me so much as both a photographer and as a mother. The charm, peacefulness, love, and tenderness in these newborn portraits is striking. All of the elements of their comfortable home setting tie together to give off such a warm and loving feel to the images… just precious. This baby is so loved. Enjoy!

I had the pleasure of photographing this Milwaukee family in the studio and outdoors at their home. We ended up with some amazing family portraits and sweet casual/candid images of the children with mom and dad. Can’t wait for them to get their portraits and canvas collections on display in their home! SO many sweet captures… full of life, love, tenderness and showing a bit of their relationship- here are a few of my favorites from their family photography sessions.

Check out this AMAZING newborn twin photography session!! It’s already been a while since their in-home Milwaukee newborn photography session for these sweet twin boys, but I HAVE to get at least one of their newborn twin pictures up right now! The house was a sauna, the babies were snuggly, full bellied, and sleepy. More of them to come, but for now, just my favorite picture…

ahh, blissful. I LOVE photographing newborn twins!! On location is the so fun, convenient for the parents, and easy and enjoyable, and photographing these little sweet infants in studio is wonderful too!

AMAZING family photography session!

This family was SO easy and fun to photograph in the Village of Wauwatosa photography studio!! We had a blast, so much laughing, giggling, talking and just cuteness oozing out of every shot! This family opted for the time and talent photography option and ordered the digital files so that they are able to enjoy ordering their own portraits as they wish… such a nice option to have when you want to be in charge of printing your own family pictures. They had an incredible variety in their family session… just so many smiles and snuggles. LOVED it!

This beautiful baby girl (the first girl in a family of boys!) is so adorable, special and beautiful. And her mom- so gorgeous and loving as well! I can’t wait to see their family again SOON and photograph the whole adorable clan in the studio!

I have a lot of blog posts from amazing newborn and family photo sessions to catch up on! First, a few comments about the sunset mini sessions (below) I still have an opening for them, email or call if you’re interested in squeezing in last minute! I can not wait to see so many of you! The weather is looking “questionable” but we’ll work around it or go with the rain date for the outdoor photography sessions. Fun!

summer sunset special

Announcing our summer sunset special! Outdoor summer mini sessions, digital files or regular portraits available- check out the link for more information! Sessions are available next week on Tuesday on the beach and next Saturday the 10th on the Parkway in Wauwatosa. Can’t wait for some beautiful sunset images!
Here are some recent images taken at sunset with a beautiful family of four in Brookfield. I photographed their older son (now almost 6!) when he was a tiny little 6 month old baby!! I still remember his chubby little cheeks and HUGE smile as a 6 month old baby! Now, 5 years later to visit their family was incredible. They were full of laughter, love and snuggles… such a great family photography session! I adore photographing families outdoors when the sun is low… so beautiful!

This family approached this outdoor photography session as a Time and Talent digital file session, opting for the digital files and legal release so that they can reproduce the images in whatever sizes and quantities they wish. I put together one idea for them… here’s an idea of a possible portrait wall gallery for their beautiful home!

Beautiful display of portraits in home!

Last fall, I photographed the sweetest family of four outdoors on the Menomonee River Parkway in Wauwatosa. It was an early Saturday morning session with beautiful light… one of their images can be seen here and they’re scattered in the headers of this website as well… I had an opportunity to visit their gorgeous home and see how they displayed their enlargements… gorgeous family portraits so beautifully framed and displayed!

Their home had amazing window light, and it was kind of hard to avoid the glare, but WOW, what a display of some beautiful family portraits!! Not to mention, the adorable little kids kitchen set in the “grown up” kitchen as well. Great place to display the pictures and get to enjoy them frequently!
