It’s a good thing I have a little snuggle bug of my own, otherwise I may have never let this little cutie leave the studio!! I photographed this family and captured the newborn days of this precious new baby just about one year ago. When I saw him in the studio again recently, at one year old, he looked still so little but much more like a little toddler! He was a pleasure to photograph with the sweetest temperament and obviously- he’s adorable! What a true joy to photograph him and document the milestones as he’s grown this first year.

Here he was as a newborn baby a year ago. We conducted his newborn session in their home, and they had the most amazing colors and decor!

And here he is now, a one year old little toddler… those newborn days go so fast!

Check out this beautiful baby that I photographed last weekend.  I had the pleasure of travelling to Shorewood for an in-home newborn photography session.  Yes, she’s adorable, of course she is a beautiful baby (she comes from an amazing family) and adorable in every teeny little way.  As I was proofing her family and newborn pictures, I selected this image as a great little profile close up.  It wasn’t until I was putting the finishing touches on preparing it that I noticed the reflection in her eye…

That’s right! It’s her mother! Crystal clear… you can see mom’s beaming smile, looking down at her new 8 day old daughter… what an amazing thing to capture!

I’m swamped with birth announcements, proofing, and getting orders in and out to patient, excited families… more images from this fabulous session (and many others!) to come soon!

This sweet baby girl has quite a story… her mother endured an awful lot starting when she was just a few months pregnant, and is a strong, amazing, beautiful woman and mother of four. The fact that she has this perfect, sweet, healthy little bundle of love after undergoing chemotherapy while pregnant is an incredible example of prayers being answered.

I can not resist posting a few more images from this newborn baby’s photography session.  I’m without my regular computer for a few days, so blog postings with beautiful family, newborn & maternity pictures may slow down a bit, but there is lots of good stuff to come!  In the meantime, enjoy this sweet infant’s newborn portraits!
