This sweet baby’s father is a pilot, and we incorporated some of his pilot “stuff” into their newborn photography session! They came in to the Wauwatosa photo studio armed with lots of great ideas, check out this little cutie baby…

What an amazing new mom and dad these two were with their sweet baby, when they came in to the Wauwatosa studio for their newborn photography session. So tender and loving and sweet with their new son. It was such a pleasure to have this family with their newborn baby in for baby pictures! Baby boy was 16 days, which is a bit older than my newborns usually are, however he was a DREAM to photograph! His newborn pictures were incredible. Within just about an hour (!!) we captured amazing newborn poses, tons of incredible pictures with mom and dad, and just had a wonderful photography session!

And last but not least, a hint of a smile. These newborn smiles just melt me!

The blog is in the process of being updated, it’ll soon have a fun new layout and a few other new features… in the meantime, I’m combining three newborn babies and one GORGEOUS belly all in this one post. Look at this sweet little face. Such a precious little squishy face, kissable lips, and with this little hat on- just adorable!
This beautiful baby boy was an incredible pleasure to photograph in the Wauwatosa studio a few weeks ago. I adored his mother and father, could totally hang out and chat with them for hours. It’s always so fun to connect with other parents that I have a lot in common with! Their family, their children… so beautiful! In another post some day, I should post a before and after (pregnant and with-baby) of their family of five! They are gorgeous images of their family!
And the third sweet newborn… I just have to share this one from this sweet baby’s session… look at this precious smile!
This sweet baby girl is one beautiful child whom I get to photograph every few months in the Watch Me Grow program! I was fortunate enough to get to know her mother while still pregnant, and then of course I photographed this little girl as a newborn… now at 4 months, she looks like a different baby! She’s changed so much- such beautiful eyes, gorgeous red hair, and this smile… she’s amazing!
And we apparently conducted this session just in time… this beautiful belly no longer has the baby inside! I will hopefully meet this new little guy this week! I’m certain that he is beautiful and I know that his parents are just loving every moment with their new babe.

We have had a string of AMAZING newborns into the Milwaukee photography studio these past few weeks, and have traveled to the homes of some great families for newborn photo sessions, too! This family came in to the Wauwatosa studio when their newborn daughter was nine days old, this mom and dad are amazing, and they are so much fun and easy to laugh and talk with. I knew I loved them from the minute they came in for their session because they were SO smitten with their precious new baby girl. We created some amazing portraits with all of that love shining through, it’s so tangible in their images, the way they hold her, look at her, just breathe in her adorableness.
And I’m so excited… these three images are going to be enlarged and displayed together in their home, arranged like this. Can you imagine having these beautiful portraits framed on the wall to look at every day?! Such a wonderful family.

One more peek from the fundraiser… I couldn’t resist (and some prodding from mom never hurts either!)
This little guy… I loved LOVED photographing him with new mom and dad about 7 months ago when he was a sweet newborn baby boy… here he is- same basket, same baby- minus the great blue wall! So glad he made it into the fundraiser. While it was wonderful to meet so many new people, we were so pleased that we saw so many familiar faces too!
I hope you’re warm inside with your little one during this Wisconsin blizzard… have some hot chocolate and marshmallows!

What a wonderful outdoor photography session we had recently with this family… There are SO many fantastic captures, look at this beautiful family! And not to mention the best mini boden outfits! Their momma has good taste, she always has.

I have photographed this sweet boy so many times with his beautiful family. He is the most adorable child- a little boy full of personality and charm…
This family is moving to Seattle, and I’m going to miss them so much! Here are a few images from 2 days before they left the state…. makes me sad, I miss them already!
I’m sure you can see why I’ll miss them terribly! Such a beautiful, fun loving family full of joy and laughter… and such an amazing little boy!

Ah, a newborn. It’s been a little while for me… I’ve photographed many amazing families, toddlers, children & older babies, but a newborn…. it was blissful. She was perfect. These reflective eyes, her tiny little baby body parts, those newborn wrinkles and fingers and toes and the little fluffs of hair above her ears… there is nothing quite as fulfilling in this same way… as photographing a newborn baby, within days of coming into the world.
These first two images jumped right out at me, but believe me: many more to follow of this gorgeous baby.

Amazing everything! Look at this gorgeous little girl that I was so fortunate to photograph in a Brookfield park the other day! What a pleasure it was to photograph this sweet 10 month old and her family the other night just before sunset. She was full of smiles, laughter, and we beat the mosquitos; she didn’t get a single bite!
Her smile was contagious, her parents were fabulous- it was a great session! Here are a few of my favorites, but believe it or not, this isn’t even the best of the session… I’m saving those for the projection appointment in the studio!
This image seriously melts my heart. Only on daddy’s shoulder and only with that thumb.
This was one of the FIRST photographs that I took when I got the camera out. Always a good sign!
Let’s see… I think mom’s words were… “I’m not a foofy frilly kind of mom…” followed by… “well, let’s just see how it looks on her…” As IF there were any option but to look other than adorable?! Needless to say, we did take some in the tutu!
This one with daddy was perfect. The lighting was so beautiful it was almost magical.
But wait- it gets even better! This……. the look on mom’s face… { melt. } Love it.

Is there a hint of a smile on this newborn baby?
Twice, towards the end of our photography session together, this sweet baby did tiny little half smiles, and both times, we just barely captured just the tail end of them! This precious boy was so loved, has the most patient, kind and sweet mother and father- they are a truly beautiful family.
Their home in Milwaukee has THE most beautiful colors, beautifully decorated!
On this one on the left, I love how his hair is standing up on the top. What a precious newborn baby. Gorgeous little boy, and such a lovely family.
