Oh my goodness… what words can I even use to describe the complete and utter cuteness here?! This sweet baby girl came in to the Wauwatosa studio for a child/family photography session just 2 weeks before she turned 6 months. Her mom and dad were beyond smitten with her, just glowing with love and pride for her ever coo and every beautiful smile. She was radiating sweetness and love- the 45 minutes that I was so fortunate to photograph her were 45 minutes filled with laughter, joy, and a glimmer of love in everyones eyes. I know, I’m gushing, but sometimes it’s just what needs to be done! A few of the images from this baby’s photography session. An amazing family, and an amazing baby to photograph in the studio. This family purchased the Time and Talent photography session, and received all of the (50+) digital JPG files with license to reproduce. This beautiful family came in for one year portraits a few weeks before their daughter’s 1-year birthday. What an amazing session! We captured incredible variety, she was so in tune with the camera and loved every minute of the hour-long session! I have been photographing this family for the past year, and have been fortunate enough to document all of their sweet baby’s milestones in beautiful pictures over the year… what an honor and treat to be able to photograph her! I adore her mom and dad… and remember the late night spent at the projection appointment one year ago as we talked and chatted about everything. Sadly, they are leaving Milwaukee and moving across the country. They are leaving today and I already miss them terribly, but wish them the best in their new home. I can only hope to see them again when they come to visit!

It’s always a surprise who I will get to photograph when a gift certificate is involved. Normally, I get to know the family that I’ll be photographing pretty well through a consultation, even if over the phone… when I meet the family for the first time after they’ve received a gift certificate, it’s a different story! This WONDERFUL, sweet, thoughtful husband/dad got his wife a gift certificate for a family session for her birthday. She contacted me right away, and I truly had no idea what a fun-loving, energetic, and joyful family they would be. These kids never stopped. Not for a second. (Only 1/125th of a second here and there!) And the parents, never grew tired or impatient with them. They were awesome. I could photograph families as wonderful as them every day and enjoy every minute of it. Here are some of my favorite outdoor family pictures from their photography session in Brookfield!

I was so honored recently when this amazing family came to the Wauwatosa photography studio for their first session in the Watch Me Grow plan. We captured some incredible images and I can’t even tell you how thrilled I am that I’ll get to photograph him as he grows over his first year!

He had THE most amazing eyelashes I have ever seen on a baby! Mom and dad were gorgeous… and we managed a “sitting up” type pose with the magic of the beanbag! Here are some of my favorite images from our portrait session:

For this image, we didn’t even set this up, it just happened that their hands were all so perfect like this, I don’t think they knew that I was photographing the hands/rings, but it’s an amazing capture, isn’t it?

And this has GOT to be one of my favorite basket portraits ever. I wasn’t sure it would work, as he was a little squirmy (in an adorable way- expected, being 4 months!) but it sure did work. I love this image, so peaceful and sweet, totally capturing the essence of his tiny-ness in this portrait.

That these beautiful portraits are of a child and her grandmother?! Gorgeous, I know. It was best described that this beautiful four year old little girl is a “whirlwind” of energy. She was, indeed! It was a fun (and short!) photography session in the studio, and one that I very much enjoyed.

Four kids five and under. I’ve just started to go through the amazing images from this studio family photography session and the images are incredible. While you won’t see them all 4 of the children this post, here are some images of their newest addition. This mom’s love and energy level for her children amazed me.
