I met this beautiful little boy when he was still inside his mommys belly… her maternity photography session was just over a year ago and I had so much fun photographing that gorgeous belly. What an honor to be a part of such special times in life! I took his newborn pictures, and his mommy got a gorgeous wall display of 4 11×14 portraits. What a great way to remember and enjoy those amazing newborn days! At his year old photo session, his smiles were contagious. He wasn’t feeling 100% like his smiley, active self when he came in to the Wauwatosa studio for his 1 year photography session, yet the cuteness is pretty much unbearable! Look at this little face!!

Where to even begin with this family’s photography session?! I had an amazing time photographing all of the sweet baby smiles, winks, laughs, and absolute sweetness between this mom and dad and their sweet baby boy. I adore this age… this little cutie was sitting up, smiling, laughing, and just oozing personality! Mom and dad were incredible with him for our pictures, I could gush all day about photographing this family, but I’ll get to the good stuff… some of his portraits and their in-studio family pictures! Enjoy!

It’s amazing what we can capture in a 20 minute mini session! Mini sessions are generally available the last Saturday of each month, and they’re a great way to document the little milestones, a special birthday, or something short and sweet. I saw this little cutie in the Tosa studio recently… I have seen her every 3 months or so since she was a newborn! I traveled to her home in Hartland, WI for an in-home newborn photography session, and ever since then, have loved photographing her every few months. When she turns a year, I will post a few images from each session… she’s a pretty amazing and special little girl.

I have to share way too many pictures from one outrageously beautiful outdoor family photography session. This was just *minutes* before sunset that we met on the parkway in Wauwatosa for family portraits… we had about five shutter clicks before the sun was gone, but the dusky light was crazy beautiful. Clearly, these parents are not only naturals in front of the camera with their children, but the children were individually SUCH relaxed, easy to photograph kids on their own, too!! As far as family sessions go, it couldn’t have possibly been more sweet, easy-going, beautiful and natural. You can just feel, see and almost experience their magic that evening. Amazingly, this whole session was pretty quick, all things considered. Less than an hour of photography time, although you wouldn’t know it from the incredible variety of the kids, family, sibling portraits and individual captures of each child… mom and dad were just beyond fantastic. It’s obvious that this family awesome.
I have a zillion newborn images to share from other sessions, and I also have to gush a bit about how FABULOUS today’s Raspberry Snap mini sessions went! A few crazy cute toddlers, some older children to photograph, the cutest 8 month old, a two week old newborn who booked a double mini session for 30 minutes of time, and lots of families in between… Brook had a blast with the mini photography sessions both outdoors in the fall setting and inside the studio for a few sessions! Sneak peeks of some images from those photo sessions coming soon! In the mean time, here is a new slideshow program… I’ll use it to share the images from this family’s session. These are low (very low) resolution images in this website slideshow to keep the size manageable for website posting- the images won’t look clear and crisp… you can see the nice clear pictures below. Be sure to ask about a high-resolution slideshow to play on your computer if you’d like one with your session! So here we go… these outdoor family pictures at sunset are almost painfully beautiful.

First, quick note about the fundraiser…
We were just stuffing goody bags today for the photography fundraiser event to support the Well-Rounded Maternity Center in Menomonee Falls and I’m excited to tell you that each family will get some little goodies to take home, a little treat for mom & some for the kids, and then *one goody bag will include a gift certificate for a studio mini session plus portraits!* Even if you don’t get that in your bag, every bag will have a special offer only for attendees of the fundraiser. Coral, at the maternity center is so excited as well and we can’t wait to thank you and see you on Saturday!
I can’t wait!! We’ve had a great response, and I think you are all going to love the “hints of Santa” theme… so much more fun than sitting on his lap smiling for the camera. We have some FUN things for santa to show the kids during their sessions, it will be great!
*********
We started outdoor on studio grounds for this 18 month old’s holiday portraits, and created some amazing images! When we came in, she was a bit more adventurous, but no less adorable or cooperative! It was a delightful holiday photography session, and their custom designed cards will be amazing! I have to say… this gorgeous little girl was honestly one of the easiest 18 month olds in my photography career!

Just a quick update here as far as availability for fall/holiday family or children’s portrait sessions… The studio is booked solid through the last week of October for full sessions: Tuesday October 28th is the first available time, with one exception:
* One full length session is available on Thursday 10/16.
I’m so glad that everyone is planning ahead, that makes my life so much easier and will be convenient for you to have your fall and holiday family portraits out of the way before it’s terribly cold out!
Being booked solid does not apply to newborns or maternity; as always, we’re happy to squeeze in a maternity or newborn session as needed, and may also be able to squeeze in mini sessions on a few Tuesdays in the remaining days of September or into October.
Call or email with any questions or to discuss scheduling your kids or family photo session- 262.781.7878 or allie@proudtointroduce.com.

Is this not the sweetest capture?! Something about it… she’s busy, on the go… but makes time to give brother a quick hug before running off again. And look at the look on his little face. He loves his little sissy so much! This was a FANTASTIC family, as they always are. No better way to start off a beautiful morning than to photograph such a sweet, fun loving and genuine family.

It’s never easy…to choose the image used on a business card. It’s the kind of thing I could “accidentally” spend an hour doing, to actually have no finished business cards to print at the end of the hour. In the end, I need to just PICK ONE and go with it, order it, and be done. So… I need help.
I am posting 11 images below. I don’t dig too deep through the archives, and I have a zillion more favorites besides these… but alas, these are the 11. Some of them are oldies but goodies that gave permission to use on marketing materials that I just haven’t used yet.
Each one has a number… simply click on comments, down below all the images, and vote. Vote as many times as you’d like, anyone may vote. The image chosen will be the one on my new cards used throughout the Milwaukee, WI area for custom photography specializing in newborns, babies, children and family photography- Parents of the winning image will receive an 8×10 classic print of it, and of course a few business cards for the brag factor.
So that’s it. Vote below! And while you’re visiting, don’t forget to subscribe to the blog for email updates! (Enter your email address in the subscribe feature to the right.)
I’ll go with the majority as it stands on Monday the 11th at 5 pm. Thanks for your help!!

I have a love/hate relationship with blogging. I love it when I have something great to announce, some sort of good thing, but I hate it when I have overbooked sessions and have to scrounge up the 25th hour in the day to make a blog post once or twice a week. What puts me *just* over the edge is when I do find that 25th hour, and I try to make a blog entry, to have a problem with the host that I was using before.
Thus, a move.
This is the new blog. I host it myself on my own domain name, so I should very very rarely have a problem, and hopefully, this will help me to post MORE often here about recent sessions, fun stuff, and whatever else. Welcome. Bookmark this page and check back often. I’m happy you’re here.
