This sweet baby boy came in to the Wauwatosa studio for his first photography session at six weeks… he was full of smiles and wide awake 90% of the session!  At the very end, his mother finally got him sleepy and he was out!  Look at these squishy sweet lips!  I could have photographed him all day long….

Those beautiful eyes, and precious little smile… what an absolute joy to photograph, his newborn pictures were just amazing!

I’ve posted about photographing this mom, and this sweet baby before… after incredible maternity portraits using natural light in the studio, and then an amazing newborn photography session on location in their Hartland home, this beautiful baby girl is about 4 months now and just as sweet, snuggly, happy, and easygoing as can be. She is FULL of smiles and just loves to be held and snuggled and rocked in her mother’s arms. I can’t believe how much gorgeous dark hair she has, and more than anything, how her eyes and smile just light up when she sees her mommy. It’s pretty special. I feel fortunate to have the honor of photographing her and her mommy together. The natural light pouring into this room is so warm and beautiful… here are some of her images.

The upper left image of her necklace is special because it’s a mother’s necklace… each disc has each of her children’s names hand stamped on it. And because this mom of four does it all… she creates this beautiful jewelry herself.

One of the most amazing things about doing what I do is seeing these babies as they grow and change. I met this baby boy when he was a 3-month old infant… look at how teeny he was- we captured some amazing images during that three month photo session on-location in his home!

I also had the pleasure of photographing him in the studio when he was about 7 months old… some of these are some of my favorites from this adorable age!

And most recently… Ah, SUCH a fun 18 month session, again, in their home where he was most comfortable and natural for the photography. It was wonderful. A few images of him from just a few weeks ago… not a baby any more, now he’s his own little toddler, full of personality and smiles and pouts and cuteness!

And look! He’s doing the chicken dance! Thank you to this family for so many wonderful sessions (some of which I am not posting here, but I could fill up a whole gallery with images from his several sessions!) Amazing smile, eyes, and just the sweetest little personality!

This sweet baby girl came into the portrait studio at about six weeks old after another not-so-great experience at another studio. I was thrilled that this family gave professional photography another chance and even more thrilled that I was the lucky photographer! She was sweet, beautiful, with the sweetest parents… although a bit older than my newer newborn babies, she was such a pleasure to photograph!
