First, some studio news…

The Proud To Introduce Photography studio will not be accepting new clients until the summer of 2010. During this time, we will serve our previous and current clients with top notch service & portraits they have come to expect, and will also be offering mini session events at popular times to any client who has previously had a portrait session with us. Be sure to check back for dates and availability!

Thanks so much for your business and your understanding as I spend this special time with my family. It has been my pleasure and privilege to photograph your beautiful families over the years. Maternity and newborn babies of previous clients are certainly welcome, and I hope to see all of you during the fall mini session events.
I look forward to seeing many of you this summer and fall… and meeting many more of you next year!

This gorgeous little girl came out to Brookfield looking adorable for a photo session in the natural light studio… we had a fun time, she liked the camera and it shows in her gorgeous portraits!

This sweet baby girl came into the studio for her first portraits at 14 days, and it was such a nice photography session! She looks very much like a little girl, doesn’t she? Her features, while tiny, are very feminine and cute in a girly way, I think! She was very interested in sleeping for us… by 14 days, I think she has found that there are too many interesting things to look at! Nonetheless, we captured some amazing images of her, and her with her beautiful family, both awake and asleep.

Mom & dad, obviously completely smitten with their new little bundle of adorableness…

And finally this beautiful baby girl gave us just a few minutes of sleepiness…

And last but not least, the big brother & big sister picture with their new baby sister… this was kind of between a cry and a smile, but the looks on the new big siblings faces makes it even sweeter. They’re so proud of their new little sister!

This expecting momma was an absolute delight to photograph in the Milwaukee photo studio, she had a perfectly adorable little belly and was SO photogenic and easy to talk to!  I am thankful to have such wonderful clients, it’s fantastic to get to know (and photograph!) women like this them before they have their baby, what an honor to document their BEAUTIFUL pregnancy curves and to be a part of celebrating their form while pregnant… it’s such an amazing time that is so quickly gone after giving birth.

This is her with her sister… her sister was equally adorable and wonderful to have at the session, I hope she joins them to the newborn photography session, too!

I had the pleasure of traveling to this family’s home in Milwaukee for a newborn photo session; as soon as I walked in, I knew it was going that we’d capture some amazing portraits! They had the most fantastic colors on their walls, and their sweet baby boy, was sleepy and just amazingly beautiful. Here are a few pictures from our session together!

This beautiful expecting mother was a pleasure to photograph in the Wauwatosa studio. She was so easy to photograph, and her adorable round belly, perfect skin & the way you could SEE how much she loved this tiny baby growing inside of her- it was all just amazing! I adore maternity photography sessions, and this was no exception! It’s amazing to capture such a fleeting and amazing time in a new mother’s life. Once that baby is out, and in your arms instead of your belly, it is just miraculous to look at these portraits and remember.

Ah, I just love this one…

I love this one too, everything about her pregnancy photo session was just perfect!

While most of the maternity photo session was conducted in the Milwaukee studio, we spent the last few minutes of it over on the Menomonee River Parkway… her first “baby” was waiting for us in her car and was thrilled to sniff around on some new ground. Look at these beautiful images we captured of her with her sweet dog!

Seriously! How adorable are these two little guys?! SUCH fun, awesome energy- they were a fast & fun session to photograph in the Tosa studio, and I was even more pleased to see the interactions and laughter we captured!  These brothers are the same ages as my own two little monkeys, each within a few months, maybe that’s why I enjoyed their sibling photo session & their energy so much!  This first picture just melts me.  It captures them perfectly.

Here are a few images that I photographed at the Sprout Children’s and Maternity boutique in Milwaukee’s third ward. Such gorgeous kids, and with the bright, fun colors in Sprout- it was even more fun to capture these photos in their downtown Milwaukee boutique! I photographed this adorable baby boy when he was a newborn, and had the pleasure of capturing him during a photo session in the Tosa studio at 3 months as well! Look at these gorgeous eyes!

And now for this amazing maternity session… would you BELIEVE that with this adorable tiny belly, this beautiful expecting mother was 33 weeks along? Her baby bump was just adorable and we captured some amazing maternity pictures in the Brookfield studio in Stonewood Village. These images are a bit more edgy than what we capture in-studio, it was a fun change of pace; I look forward to more maternity photo sessions like this inside the Stonewood Village Studio. The natural light photography studio in Brookfield has been cleared out just for sessions like this (and this 7-month old child’s session, and this maternity session), it’s such a different setting, more directional light coming in naturally through the windows- I just love it for a different type of look for some sessions!
