So cherished, so loved. As a Grand Rapids child photographer, I feel honored and blessed to know such loving, sweet, playful and amazing families. Love them, and could not get enough of this sweet baby boy.

With our very cold (finally) weather here in Grand Rapids, I thought I’d share a photo of this sweet boy from a warm summer month! It is so fun to look at pictures of a family that I have photographed for years and years. I have photographed this family about six times since first photographing their family in 2006… this adorable little boy is so big now, SO sweet and smart and amazing, AND a big brother to his own little one year old baby brother now!
Anyway, another one of boy in a bucket. An oldie but super sweet picture of a toddler. I just can’t believe how long I’ve been honored to photograph him and his family!

Garage light is always so fabulous! This child’s picture is from … ready for this? 2006!! The wonderful momma of this now-7 year old boy wanted to get the files from our session so long ago and of course I was thrilled that she was asking! What fun to see ALL of the images taken of your sweet baby so long ago. This picture was taken of this little not-quite-one year old boy with garage light, which is always gorgeous in the summers!

How cute is are the pictures of this sweet dog?! I loved him since I first saw him, several years ago, and recently had the opportunity to photograph this handsome dog! What fun! Come spring, I’d love to photograph more pets; dog photography especially… I can’t imagine the joy of professional photographers who ultimately specialize in dog portraits- what a glorious photography job that would be!

Another favorite type of photograph with pregnant mommas in Grand Rapids is to incorporate an older sibling into a maternity and family portrait. Gorgeous! Love the sweetness of a professional maternity portrait with an older sibling!!

Have I mentioned how much I love my work?! What could be better than an in-home photography session on a chilly winter day with these Grand Rapids children? Not much. They are so beautiful, so sweet… More pictures of these sweet twins with their amazing big sister…

Love to photograph twins! This was an in-home session last winter. (The good thing about losing a years worth of photography posts I suppose is that I can re-post my favorites of old family photography sessions!) Identical twin pictures are FUN to capture… these four year old boys are very close to my heart, I’ve been photographing them and their beautiful big sister twice a year, since they were 9 days old.
