If any blog readers are interested, we have a last minute photography session available this Sunday at 11:30 in the Brookfield studio. The weather is supposed to be beautiful, and the session can certainly incorporate some (or all!) of the pictures to be taken outdoors on the studio grounds. It’s a mini photography session that is available, well suited for a maternity or children’s or family session- 30 minutes in the studio for a $50 session fee. You’ll have at least 12 images to select from in your online image gallery. Of course, this is a great opportunity for a sibling or family image for your family’s holiday cards, too! The Raspberry Snap mini session rates will apply, and no minimum order for mini sessions. Please email me at allie@proudtointroduce.com if you’d like to come in for a family or children’s portrait session… it’s the day after tomorrow, so please let me know right away!

The $95 session fee for a family session is valid for any 2009 session scheduled before this Saturday (10/31/09 – Halloween)! Call or email to reserve your family’s holiday photography session… update your family portrait, get some beautiful portraits of your children in an outdoor fall setting- GORGEOUS, but it’s not going to be around for too much longer!
Now for some images! This GORGEOUS newborn baby came into the Brookfield studio from Appleton recently. It was a fantastic session… mom and dad were SO much fun and so wonderful to photograph in the studio with their precious newborn son.

I have to share way too many pictures from one outrageously beautiful outdoor family photography session. This was just *minutes* before sunset that we met on the parkway in Wauwatosa for family portraits… we had about five shutter clicks before the sun was gone, but the dusky light was crazy beautiful. Clearly, these parents are not only naturals in front of the camera with their children, but the children were individually SUCH relaxed, easy to photograph kids on their own, too!! As far as family sessions go, it couldn’t have possibly been more sweet, easy-going, beautiful and natural.You can just feel, see and almost experience their magic that evening. Amazingly, this whole session was pretty quick, all things considered. Less than an hour of photography time, although you wouldn’t know it from the incredible variety of the kids, family, sibling portraits and individual captures of each child… mom and dad were just beyond fantastic. It’s obvious that this family awesome.
I have a zillion newborn images to share from other sessions, and I also have to gush a bit about how FABULOUS today’s Raspberry Snap mini sessions went! A few crazy cute toddlers, some older children to photograph, the cutest 8 month old, a two week old newborn who booked a double mini session for 30 minutes of time, and lots of families in between… Brook had a blast with the mini photography sessions both outdoors in the fall setting and inside the studio for a few sessions! Sneak peeks of some images from those photo sessions coming soon! In the mean time, here is a new slideshow program… I’ll use it to share the images from this family’s session. These are low (very low) resolution images in this website slideshow to keep the size manageable for website posting- the images won’t look clear and crisp… you can see the nice clear pictures below. Be sure to ask about a high-resolution slideshow to play on your computer if you’d like one with your session! So here we go… these outdoor family pictures at sunset are almost painfully beautiful.

Two Raspberry Snap mini sessions for your children or family are still available at the Brookfield Photography studio for this Saturday, the 24th. Looks like we’re going to have a nice day for the outdoor sessions, too- what luck! The colors are beautiful outside of the studio at Stonewood Village, and I just picked up the most adorable little baskets for apples! This is a great opportunity to get some gorgeous fall portraits of your children, or update a family picture for yourself and for Christmas and holiday gifts! The openings are for 10:30 and 10:45, let me know if you’d like to come out for a mini session! The session fee is $39, and to answer the most popular question, YES, you certainly can get holiday cards with your mini session images!
In the mean time, here is ONE stunning black and white image of an adorable sweet new baby. It was a DREAM to photograph this newborn in the studio! His newborn pictures are incredible!

This baby girl came up to the Milwaukee area from Chicago recently when she was under 2 weeks old, for an amazing newborn photography session. It was a pleasure to have them in the Brookfield studio for their newborn and family portraits! This precious baby was so gorgeous, with the most beautiful, proud, loving new mother and father… here are some of her newborn pictures… enjoy!

Are you thinking about holiday portraits for your family’s holiday cards yet?! Outside of our regular sessions and Raspberry Snap mini sessions, we have some other special offerings for this year’s family portraits & cards, kind of “in between” a full length session and a mini session.
The special collections revolve around your desire for beautifully custom designed holiday cards with your children’s stunning pictures on them once again. An outdoor or in-studio session is $95 this year (must schedule before October 31 for this price) and then you may order portraits & cards a-la carte or within one of the holiday collections. No minimum order is required. Available sessions are limited to what we have open on the calendar… mostly weekends and evenings here and there- please reserve your holiday session soon! Don’t risk waiting until October 30th to see if there are any openings still available.

It breaks my heart to see animals left outside in the cold… a great resource in our community for Animal Welfare is HAWS, in Waukesha. A non-profit organization established in 1965, HAWS assists over 6,000 animals each year and welcomes more than 31,000 human visitors annually. An “open admissions” shelter, they accept animals regardless of age, health, temperament or breed. Their active humane education department offers programs and services to promote responsible pet ownership and prevent animal abuse and neglect in our community and beyond. Introducing Raspberry Snap Mini Sessions! Raspberry Snap Photography sessions for children and families are available once per month, and are quick (fun!) ways to get an updated portrait without as much of a time or financial investment. We have heard it so much over the years… families looking for an updated portrait or wanting to beautifully document their children’s milestones, but don’t need the whole shebang. Here is the perfect solution!
The children’s or family photography session fee for a Raspberry Snap Mini session is only $39. With that, you get 15 minutes of time in the Brookfield studio, at least 5-8 images in a convenient online gallery to choose from, and portraits will be shipped right to your door! The best part is that the portrait prices themselves are a bit lower. With the limited amount of time spent on each session and the higher volume model for each Raspberry Snap day, we’re able to offer portraits starting at $35 and collections starting at $199. There is no minimum order required. And yes, of course, this is a great opportunity to capture a family image (or a great picture of just the kids!) for your 2009 holiday cards. Here are some of the images from our first Raspberry Snap mini session day, Brook and I had some incredibly cute kids in, it was a fast paced morning with all of these cuties!
