“Our” newest accomplishment as in: my son’s! My older monkey turned 5 a few weeks ago and this is him tonight, courtesy of my husband’s blackberry!
A few nights out with daddy and he’s off, with three year old little brother following along! They grow up so fast, but the milestones never really end, do they?
I love those little monkeys. :)

Saturday was our first round of photography mini sessions outdoors in Brookfield. The main goal for each family that we photographed over the weekend was to get some amazing images for family Christmas/holiday and greeting cards. This particular family had a special celebration to document as well!
Their sweet baby girl had just turned one year old! Lucky me, I met her gorgeous mom and big sister and created some BEAUTIFUL relationship and maternity images before she was arrived, and two of her newborn portraits are still some of my all time favorites and are displayed in the studio!
Aren’t these sisters beautiful? They are so gorgeous, and they really almost loook like twins, just a few years apart- they look SO much alike!
Holiday mini sessions are based around getting a few images for your custom designed holiday cards as well as a couple of additional pictures in some collections; more information is available here. For blog followers, this birthday girl may look familiar. I’ve had the honor of photographing her several times in their gorgeous downtown Milwaukee condo over the past year and it has been an incredible pleasure to do capture her milestones and changes on film! Her birthday party took place on her birthday, just after mommy & daddy got back from China for the Olympics…
So here she is!
(Imagine coming out of your room from nap time and seeing a condo full of people!)
But before you feel too sorry for her for this cutie being shy and intimidated by all the guests…
It wasn’t long before she settled right in!

I photographed this sweet baby girl’s big sister about 3 years ago… this little one was just as special, just as pleasant, easy and sweet… I could have spent all day there photographing her! Gorgeous mommy & daddy, beautiful, easy baby… it was a dream!!

This couple was an incredible pleasure to photograph- beautiful, photogenic, and more than anything else, so sweet and pleasant! They are going to be AMAZING parents when this baby makes his or her appearance in a few months…. they were both so loving and sweet, you could just feel how much they love each other and their baby.
