I am so behind with these featured mom posts. :(
I will try to post one per day this week to get them the rest of them posted!
Here is Bernadette, with the missing hat, the beautiful family, and the three easiest kids to photograph together that I’ve had in a long time!
First name & city: Bernadette, Hartland
How many children, first names and ages: 3; Morgan (8), Mitchell (4), Meryl (16 months)
What’s on the top of your Christmas list? Health and No Stress
What is your favorite family holiday tradition? Christmas Eve with family
What’s something you *don’t do* during the holidays? Stress out. For 2 years I worked fulltime, finished my bachelors degree at night and had a baby and husband. For those 2 years, Christmas was awful because everything had to be done by 12/21 (christmas related, final projects and exams), which did not allow for much Chirstmas fun. I stressed out so much, I was sick each year and hospitalized once because of the stress. I vowed that if I ever graduate, which I did, I would make Christmas awesome and enjoyable. I vowed I would not procrastinate on the holiday things that need to get done. Each year I have my Christmas shopping done by Thanksgiving and my cards out in the mail the 1st week of December. The rest of the time I enjoy on fun stuff. – and actually love wrapping gifts with my kids.
Black friday- are you out before 6 am? NO way. Two words: CRAZY insane.
One store getting a lot of your business for gifts this Holiday season: Wilsons Leather
Favorite holiday food? Everything, but especially looking forward to Mexican Wedding Cake cookies.
Favorite places to go with your children in the winter months: Being home with my husband and children. My husband travels a lot from Nov-Feb.
What was the last book you read to your children? Santa’s New Clothes
What’s on your nightstand? Suze Orman: Women and Money
What are your favorite websites or blogs to visit? Milwaukee Moms, oprah.com
What are your 3 favorite local restaurants: Bravo, Bacchus, Chillis
What is your favorite Salon? Tony and Friends (stylist – Flora)
What local groups or causes are you involved with? Arrowhead Wrestling Club and High School Team, Susan Komen Foundation
Any business or fun stuff you want to share? (Give a link if you have one, or contact info!) Own decorative concrete construction business with brother. If it has to with concrete, we do it…. See our Job/Photo Gallery at: www.nord-construction.com We’ll give a 15% discount to anyone referred by Proud To Introduce.
And last but not least, what do you *love* about proud to introduce? :) Allie. She is so easy to work with. She is very accommodating. Our session was effortless and felt like we weren’t doing anything. Secretely, I was hoping that the pictures would turn out because it was too easy (unlike other photo shoots we have had in the past.). And, of course, the pictures turned out BEAUTIFUL.
And this very popular image… is Bernadette’s!

Happy New Year!
This holiday season has proven to be busier than I expected with family outings, visitors, and all the stuff that comes along with the holidays. :) Not a bad thing, but it is my excuse for not posting as much as I’d like these past few weeks.
The featured mom posts will continue into the new year, quite possibly through January if I manage to post one or two per week. More posts coming soon.
I have three sessions to post sneak peeks from, but in lieu of the holiday, I want to post one of my own two little monkeys.
Happy New Year, I wish for you all that 2008 brings you and your families happiness and joy.
