If any of you blog readers are wanting a session with pretty short notice, I can fit one in on Tuesday evening. That’s really short notice- I mean this Tuesday the 31st. A client needed to reschedule and I have an opening… if not evening, I could conduct it around 12 or 1:00 as well.

Well… I am not updating the website right now! Instead, I opened these files, despite my commitment to update the site… I couldn’t stand to postpone proofing (story of my life) so I just had to. Probably not really a bad thing for those of you in between session and ordering session who think that proofing is what I should be doing right now! Not to worry. Website updates will have to wait, as I dig into a beautiful session.
I am so glad I did:
H & D, thank you so much… I’ll be emailing you both soon.

I have good intentions every week or two one night to just take the time to update the main proudtointroduce.com website with fresh images, new info, etc.
So why doesn’t it happen?! Because there is always a session to proof, something to prepare, something to do.
Well. Tonight is the night. I must do it! And by writing this, it will be much more likely to actually happen. We all know how that goes…
Check the website tomorrow to see some new images throughout. My favorites will probably remain, but hopefully I can find the time to update the galleries and the text page images! And here is one super cute image just for fun… ;)

Ahhh….
I admit: I am enamored with sun flare.
Some flare is so pretty, it just encompasses the whole image and frames it beautifully and perfectly…
And some (first 2 below) flare is not exactly subtle, but just adds so much interest to the composition of the image.
And then images with flare like the thumbnail below… pretty subtle but absolutely scrumptious.
I get questions about this sometimes. How do you get it? Do you know it’s happening? Why does it happen…? To answer the questions that many clients may wonder but perhaps only few actually ask…
It IS intentional, for certain! I work hard to get the flare *just* right in my lens before capturing the moment. It happens simply due to the sun’s position and how the light hits my lens. It seems that all lenses are a little different when it comes to what the lens does with the streaks of light, and I just love figuring it out and getting it right. Usually, I have to move around bit by bit and find just the right direction. It’s fairly common (and much less impossible) to accomplish flare with low, low light, which is why evening sessions are just fantastic right now.

I’m not sure what I could possibly write here to do any justice to these amazing images. What an absolute pleasure and joy to photograph you and your children, N. Thank you.

If you’re online browsing for a moment, stop and check out an article: http://www.wauwatosanow.com/story/index.aspx?id=629957
I really am excited and thrilled to have this improved way of showing you your images. It just doesn’t do some images justice to see them in 5×7 prints when making your selections. So far, it has been a tremendous success… the viewing and ordering sessions that have utilized this have appreciated being able to see all of the detail in each of their images… it’s wonderful.
I have to run out for a session but will be in later to post some sneak peeks!
